Programme 2010-2011

Monday 5th July 10.30am, A 'Friendly' Get Together at the Museum. Everyone is welcome to join the Friends of the Museum on Monday 5th July from 10.30 a.m. - 12 noon. Ann Dorset will give a short informal gallery talk on the B.A. Lewis exhibit at about 10.45 a.m.   Tea and coffee are available to purchase from the cafe.  Free entry to Members of the Friends, and a contribution of £1 for non-members who would like to join us for a chat.  All donations will go towards supporting the children's activities. Entry to the museum is free.

Saturday 17th July, 7pm Archaeology Day at the Museum 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. All Welcome. Free Entry. Talk to Owain Glyndwr, enlist in the museum's Home Guard unit, storytelling, dressing-up, mini-excavation and more. Parents to accompany children at all times. Sensible shoes and old clothes for digging.               

Thursday 23rd September, Antiques with Rev Dr Felix Aubel All are welcome to come along to the museum for a discussion on antiques, and you are welcome to bring items of your own for our guest speaker to examine and pass opinion on them.

Wednesday 13th October, "Dolaucothi Goldmines - An On-Going Debate" with Heather James. A joint event with the Civic Society to be held at the museum. Details tbc.

Monday 8th November, Curry Evening at the Shish Mahal. Details tbc.

Wednesday & Thursday 8th / 9th December provisional dates for Christmas at the Museum Details tbc.

Thursday 20th January, Social Evening. Details tbc.
