Grant Awards

The museum has just been awarded a grant, administered by CyMAL: Museums Archives and Libraries Wales division of the Welsh Assembly, for the sum of £3,687 to help towards interpretation panels and equipment.  The grant is one of several which will aid in the development of the educational resources at the museum.

Lost Sketch Book

Did you lose your sketch book after the visit to Pontargothi Church? If so please contact the museum where it is being stored for safe keeping.

Urgent Call for Committee Members

Do you have an opinion on how the Friends is run?  Have you any ideas for events or fundraising? Have you any time and experience that you can give to the Friends? Would you like to take a more active role in the Friends by becoming a member of the committee.

If so please either contact any member of the present committee or Gavin at the museum. Ideally, please let us know before the next AGM.

Opportunity for Welsh learners at the Museum!

"Paned a Phapur' sessions are being held at the museum for Welsh learners - an opportunity for learners to get together in the rich environment of the museum to have a chat over a cup of tea or coffee. The sessions take place on the second and fourth Saturday mornings of the month - just for an hour or so between 10.30 am and 11.30am. - until Easter.

Do come along - we would love to see you. All levels of ability and interest welcome.

If the initiative is successful then the sessions can be held on a permanent basis.
